Our Review
BlueHost is relatively new to the hosting game; they started in 2004 and show no signs of slowing down. BlueHost offers one basic plan and that is the 6.94$ plan. With the 6.95$ plan at blue host you get 300GB of disk space as most other big name hosts offer and 3000GB of monthly bandwidth, both these numbers are typical for any big hosting company. Some of the things that you get when you sign up with BlueHost are pretty cool they include a 50$ yahoo publisher credit and a free domain to get you started in your web site building career. Other features that the basic plan at BlueHost offers are the ability to host unlimited domains on your hosting program, other features include a free site promotion package and eCommerce cart just in case you own a internet store.
One thing that is very attractive about BlueHost is that they do not charge any hidden fees or charges when you sign up, so there will be no 30$ set up fee when you sign up like HostRocket. Another nice feature of the BlueHost plan is that they offer the program fantastico as most big hosting providers do now; fantastico is a program that automates the installation of major programs like word press onto your server. BlueHost also offers a free search engine submission for your new site, although this is a nice touch it is virtually worthless considering you could get your site indexed in a matter of days with a back link or two when search engine submission could take a couple weeks to get your new site indexed and recognized in the search engines.
One minor down side of the BlueHost plan is that they only allow each user to have fifty MySql data bases on there server, although fifty seems like a lot this could easily be used up if you decide to really get into making websites. Over all BlueHost is an excellent deal, they offer a variety of services and in the right quantity, they also offer some extra goodies that make signing up a sweet deal. The BlueHost basic plan would be recommended for some one that is small or midsize because there bandwidth and disk space may be a little small for some one looking to host a very large site or a large quantity of sites.
